Now here's a "novel" concept - drink a book! Suzanne Long and Susan Eggett, the femme fatales of Forbidden Island Tiki Lounge in Alameda, have created a special menu of deadly drinks inspired by my novels, debuting Monday, March 21 during my "Neurotic Noir" double bill of  Edgar Ulmer's B masterpiece DETOUR (1945) and the incredible fever-dream-on-film DEMENTIA (1955), and thereafter available exclusively at my monthly Forbidden Thrills movie nites. They include the "Chumpy Walnut," the "Vic Valentine," "The Drowning Mermaid," the "Dark Alley" and the "Lavender Blonde." This is the full menu, designed by Tanoa Stewart. They are all decadently, dangerously, deliriously delicious literary libations. Cheers!
