It was a low-key evening of cheap chills last night at Forbidden Island Tiki Lounge as I presented two public domain monster movies, Werewolf in a Girl's Dormitory and one of my favorites, The Manster - both lurid, pulpy, old school cool ghoul flicks. Local horror host Lord Blood-Rah was on hand to help me give out prizes and free popcorn, and the cocktail special was a schizo but tasty concoction called "The Split Personality." A fun night for all. Next in Forbidden Thrills, November 15: "Ed Wood if He Could" featuring Glen or Glenda and Bride of the Monster. Be there. Aloha.
