On Thursday, April 15, Thrillville will turn 13 - I know, wow and where the hell did the time go!? Thirteen long lucky years of brains, beasts, blood, breasts, bikers, beatniks, blaxploitation, and all the Best of the B's. We'll be celebrating at the Camera 3 Cinema in San Jose, where our road shows began following the unfortunate, untimely folding of Speakeasy Theaters, our former home base since April 1997, with a typically bargain basement double chill-thrill-kill bill of two low-budget mini-masterpieces: THE BRAIN THAT WOULDN'T DIE (1962) plus ATTACK OF THE GIANT LEECHES (1959), AKA "They Escaped From the Public Domain." Also on the thrill-bill: our old friend MR LOBO of Cinema Insomnia fame, and DJ/musician Actual Rafiq. Dig the official awesome event poster by Aaron Farmer, layout by Petrina Cooper. Cheers!
